About the show~
This Grimm classic is a family favorite that's sure to put a smile on your face! From it's
brilliant casting, to its witty humor, Hansel and Gretel is a wonderful show for the
whole family! The play follows two children named Hansel and Gretel. Their family is a
poor one, and their mother comes up with the decision to bring them out in the forest
to purposefully lose them so that they won't have to support them. Once Hansel and
Gretel are lost, they come across a house made entirely out of sweets. When they are
nibbling on the house out of starvation, the witch living there captures them and feeds
them many sweets so that they would be nice and plump by the time she went to eat
them. This tale that we all know and love is put together with lavish costumes,
beautiful sets, and a terrific sense of humor.

OOK RAJELLE(HANSEL)
Ook Rajelle has been a part of many Stuphonian hits and is proud of every production he has joined since his first role. He knew he wanted to be an actor since the age of 6, and now cannot imagine doing anything else. Some of his outstanding roles include the Emcee in the 1999 production of "Cabaret", Mr. Mistoffelees in the 2005 production of "Cats", and Jack in the 1995 production of "Into the Woods". Ook is incredibly proud of all he has done and sends a million thanks to his family, friends, and adoring fans. PARTY BEAR KELLY(GRETEL) Party Bear Kelly has enjoyed the pleasure of being onstage for several years. She began her journey at Disneyland, Stuphonia, and has since gone on for a colorful career in Northern Xect. Some of her favorite roles include Glinda in the 2005 production of "Wicked", Christine Daae in "The Phantom of the Opera", and Ariel in the 2010 production of "Disney's The Little Mermaid". She is also a star of film, television, and solo album. SWEETLY MAIRE(OLD WITCH) Famous actress Sweetly Maire is known for her countless musical roles, her concerts, and her motion picture roles. Her most famous roles were considered to be Maria in the 1996 production of "The Sound of Music", Anna in the 1992 production of "The King And I", and Christine in the 1994 production of "The Phantom of the Opera". Since then, she has become a huge musical success, and is honored to be a part of this phenomenal production. She would like to thank her family, God, her fans, and all of her friends, for without any of them she would not be where she is today. JEWEL ELIZABETH(VERANDA) Jewel Elizabeth is a Stuphonian sensation and has been a part of all of those classic musicals we have always known and loved. Above all other roles, she is mainly known for her role as Nancy in the 1994 production of "Oliver!", though she has been in so many famous leads. She would like to thank all of her wonderful fans and family that have been there for her since the beginning, and will never cease to love her for her musical abilities. CRUMPET JAMES(HARRY) Crumpet James is somewhat of a fresh face in theater, and has not taken part in many Northern Xect plays, but has always longed to. Now that he has made it into a main role, he is extremely enthusiastic about it, and does not wish to leave it anytime soon. He majored in Acting in college at FSU, Stuphonia, and has since worked in Equity performances. He would like to thank all of his wonderful friends and family that have built him, and cannot wait to see you all at the show! |  |

      | The play opens in a deep forest with lights focused on the set. Once the play has begun, it is clear to the audience that Harry, Hansel and Gretel's father, cares for the children's well-being, while Veranda just wants them out of their hair.
In this photo, Jewel Elizabeth is in the role of Veranda, and Crumpet James is in the role of Harry. "Where are they, Hansel?" After trying their best to keep up with their parents in the forest, Hansel and Gretel find that their hope of staying at home is lost, and they must try to fend for themselves in the forest. In this photo, Party Bear Kelly is in the role of Gretel, and Ook Rajelle is in the role of Hansel. Hansel and Gretel are lured into the house of the Old Witch. In this photo, Party Bear Kelly is in the role of Gretel, Ook Rajelle is in the role of Hansel, and Sweetly Maire is in the role of the Old Witch.
Hansel and Gretel are re-united with their father. In this photo, Crumpet James is in the role of Harry, Ook Rajelle is in the role of Hansel, and Party Bear Kelly is in the role of Gretel.
